‘10 years of Ensemble Polyharmonique’ anniversary tour
In 2024, Ensemble Polyharmonique celebrates its 10th anniversary.
The ensemble discovers and interprets the wonders of vocal music from the late Renaissance to the Baroque in the sense of historical performance practice. Numerous projects with orchestras from all over Europe, CD releases, innovative film productions and extensive concert activities have accompanied us on our way.
We are taking this anniversary as an opportunity to present the solemn Vesper Psalms by Johann David Heinichen with the Wrocław Baroque Orchestra for the first time on a concert tour, which we produced together for a CD recording in 2021.
Combined with Johann Sebastian Bach's virtuoso motet ‘Singet dem Herrn’ and the magnificent prayer for peace ‘Da Pacem Domine’ by Jan Dismas Zelenka, this is vibrant music full of elegance and verve with virtuoso arias and ensembles that are able to inspire the mind and soul of the audience.
Never academic, but lively and colourful - in short: festive baroque music for an anniversary!
