"In Dialogo" - CD Release Concert (Concert de CD Release)

    September 3, 2020, 7 pm
    Markuskirche, Hannover, Germany

Leine Castle, Hanover 1704: A religious discussion between Jews and Christians in the liberal Leibniz city has been handed down in its word-for-word tradition and uniqueness until today. Alon Sariel has developed a musical programme around this religious-historical event. Recitation from the original source and compositions by the Jewish-Italian composer Salamone Rossi and the Wolfenbüttel court composer Johann Rosenmüller are part of this concept in form of a dialogue between words and music. Salamone Rossi's 450th birthday is commemorated in 2020.
