A new documentary on the Totana Manuscript

ECOS Festival de Sierra Espuña and Cantoría are preparing a documentary, an exhibition and a digital platform that will tell the story of the discovery of the Totana Manuscript, a jewel of the Hispanic musical Renaissance. This project, which highlights the musical heritage of the Region of Murcia, has been developed in collaboration with the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), thanks to the support of the Regional Ministry of Education and Culture of the Region of Murcia.
The music of the manuscript, written by composers from the Cathedrals of Granada and Seville such as Guerrero, Cevallos or Navarro, was presented in a concert under the direction of Jorge Losana on 21 March 2021 within the framework of REMA's Early Music Day celebration.
