Gregynog Festival 2017
Gregynog Festival 2017 takes Pageantry as its theme, inspired by the creative community that used to gather each summer in the North Wales town of Harlech.
The opening weekend highlights the legacy of Arnold Dolmetsch, including his research into the Robert ap Huw harp manuscript, with Paul Dooley and Thomas Dunford (Aberystwyth, 16 June), Michala Petri, Mahan Esfahani, Ricercar Consort, and a talk by Dolmetsch's granddaughter, Jeanne (Gregynog, 17-18 June). The season continues at Chirk Castle (23-25 June) and Harlech (28 June-2 July) with Llŷr Williams, Amy Dickson, Robert Plane, Gould Piano Trio and Septura.
