The Beverley and East Riding Early Music Festival remains one of the cultural landmarks of the East Riding of Yorkshire, utilising the remarkable architecture of the region to present an annual festival embracing some of the world's finest early music specialists alongside a series of illustrated talks and educational activities.

Guest artists in 2010 will include the internationally acclaimed Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, directed by Matthew Truscott, with a programme including the Bach Double Violin Concerto supported by Orchestras Live; the Dunedin Consort, directed by John Butt, presenting their award-winning production of Handel's Acis & Galatea and the winners of the YEMF Friends Prize, Stile Antico, celebrating the 400th anniversary of Monteverdi.

Tickets for the Festival will be on sale from 1st March 2010.

The Festival is funded by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council with support from Orchestras Live, the Arts Council and the National Centre for Early Music.
