European Early Music Network

Aims / Vocations

Aims
- To federate the players in Early Music in Europe.
- To unite in the discovery of our heritage.
- To establish a service, an European data base.
- To foster new talents via the union of te Early Arts and contemporary creation.
- To encourage the spread of Early Music ; to convince program directors of the interest and the quality of productions.
- To encourage public awareness by organising major tours thanks to the Network and by post production (studio recordings of CDs for exemple).
Vocations
- To organise conventions and lectures about the rediscovery and use of our heritage on original instruments and of our musical heritage in general.
- Cooperation between associations, members of the network and institutions.
- To encourage the development and the integration of Early music training and to promote young performers by spreading information and recordings.
- To ensure the publication of compilations of the works and meetings, conventions and lectures in the areas of Early Music.
- To stimulate the knowledge of Early music, its research and study.
- To create tools to conquer new audience and to further dialogue.
